Discussion on expropriation and struggles against power and property relations
Who hasn’t dreamed of robbing a bank or an armored car and using the loot to finance ourselves or other important projects? Ever since wealth and property have existed, and ever since the rich and powerful, or to apply this to our current capitalist reality, banks and large corporations have been accumulating money and speculating with it, there have always been a variety of reactions.
In the discussion, we will talk about state attempts to de-politicize expropriation actions, their historical context, gender images, criticism, self-criticism, ethical dimensions, and questions of self-organization—from our own experience and in exchange with current events.
Solidarity with all rebels and fighters behind the walls, the wanted and active expropriators, here and everywhere…!!!

„Know Your Rights!“ – Lecture & Q&A with the Ermittlungsausschuss and the Rote Hilfe
Who is it for? For all (young people) who are active or want to become active – whether in climate activism, anti-fascist actions, or simply taking a stand in everyday life. How do I behave correctly when interacting with the police? Whether at demonstrations, environmental actions, or in everyday life: anyone who is politically active will sooner or later come into contact with the police. But what are the police actually allowed to do? What are you allowed to do? And how can you protect yourself legally? In this lecture, you will receive practical information about your rights during police checks, demonstrations, and assemblies. Afterwards, there will be time for your questions – anonymously or openly, everything is welcome. Come along, get informed – because those who know their rights are better prepared.

4:00 PM Workshop 3 „Beyond Punishment: Towards a Just Society without Prisons through Transformative Justice!?“ [Main stage]
Paulina was active in prisoner support for several years. Thomas has been engaged with prison critique and abolitionism on a practical level for three decades.
In an interactive workshop, after an input from the speakers, participants can work with texts to explore the ideas of punishment, the desire to punish, prison, and alternatives in the form of concepts of transformative justice.  Afterwards, the insights developed in small groups will be discussed in the plenary. The goal of the workshop is to reflect on the internalized system of punishment and to raise awareness for alternative forms of justice beyond typical punitive mechanisms.

6:00 PM Workshop 4 „German Criminal Justice’s Sharpest Sword: Section 129b used against Kurdish Activist“ [Main stage]
Lecture and Discussion: The Sharpest Sword of German Criminal Justice: Section 129b in Use Against Kurdish Activists with Alexander Hummel from the zentralen Menschenrechtsrat der Kurd*innen in Deutschland.
Of the many methods used to criminalize Kurdish activists and politicians in Germany, the charge of membership in a terrorist organization abroad (Sections 129a and b of the German Criminal Code) is undoubtedly one of the most serious for those affected. In addition to aggravated prison sentences, political bans under so-called conduct supervision are a repressive part of everyday life for those convicted. This recently expanded practice has, among other things, the Düsseldorf Trial, a key historical precedent that is significant for Germany’s general history of repression. In addition to current examples of the application of Section 129b against the Kurdish movement, the lecture will also discuss historical precedents in recent history. Finally, the question of the extent to which the current transformation of the Kurdish freedom movement is likely to lead to a change in German repressive practices will be discussed.

1:30 PM Workshop 6 „Correspondence as Resistance and Hope – Learning to Communicate with Prisoners “ [Infoladen]
Among others with Thomas, who brings in his experience both as someone who received letters while incarcerated and as someone who now writes many letters to prisoners.
In this interactive workshop, following an input from the speakers, participants will—if they wish and with guidance—write their first postcards and letters to incarcerated people. The written pieces will then be sent to the addressees after the workshop. From the experience of the speakers in previous workshops, the hurdle of writing a „first“ letter or „first“ postcard to an incarcerated person is often quite high. During the input, participants‘ potential worries and concerns will be raised, addressed, and ideally eased. The speakers will also highlight the practice of letter-writing as a form of resistance, and its importance for incarcerated people, who are cut off from electronic communication.
In addition, the workshop will address state restrictions related to written communication with prisoners. The goal of the workshop is to encourage and strengthen participants‘ willingness to get in touch with prisoners and to write to them. Alongside the theoretical input, equal emphasis will be placed on the collective (possibly guided) writing of postcards and letters to prisoners. 

4:00 PM Workshop 7 „Overcome Imprisonment“ [Main stage]
Ella, the previously “Unknown Person 1”, invites all who are interested in a reappropriated life to this abolition round.
Meaning, a held space to explore a life where we decide what’s best for us, beyond the state, it’s cops, courts, prisons, migrant detention centres, armies and surveillance. This necessitates the dismantling and transforming of life’s stressors, and together crafting of a new reality. Ella will guide the group with a brief meditation, use their lived experience of a year and a half as an anonymous prisoner for the defence of the Dannenröder forest, and communicate about the ongoing struggle through poetry for this purpose.This is a participatory workshop where questions and discussion are welcome in collective moderation. Copies of their recently published book ‘Gefangenschaft überwinden‘ and the original ‘Imprisonment is for Burning’ will be available at solidarity pricing.
